Art des Caves completed 10 year in 2007. It is currently the company that presents The
greatest lines of cellars in the world and it is the
leader in the Brazilian Market of cooling cellars. There are more than
27 models of the regular lines besides the personalized projects for
residences, restaurants, hotels and stores throughout Brazil.
During
these 10 years Art des Caves
has conditioned more than 20 millions of wine bottles in Brazil. More
than 28 thousand happy customers enjoy themselves with drink
of Bacchus that the bottles comfortably rest in more than 40.000
wine cellars produced by Art des Caves in this period. This without
counting the more than 2.500 projects of special cellars and room
cellar conditioning for wines.
The
partners, Marco Antônio Fernandes and Alcir
Penna Vidigal, after perceiving the growth in the
consumption of wine in Brazil
and the lack of cellars adapted to the tropical climate inaugurated Art des
Caves in 1997.
In
2003 Art des
Caves opened their first store Maison
des Caves
in Shopping Center D&D in SP to sell their cellars and
projects of cellar conditioning. Soon after they opened at Al. Gabriel
Monteiro da Silva, in Jardins, and after in Morumbi Shopping
Center also in SP. In 2006 they expanded to RJ, In Casashopping Center,
Brasília, no ParkShopping
Center. In 2007,
Art
des Caves
inaugurated two kiosks, one in ParkShopping Barigui in Curitiba
and another in Shopping Iguatemi in Porto Alegre. Besides the cellars, the stores Maison de
Caves have the commitment to stimulate the wine universe and offer both
imported and national wines as well as accessories like wine glasses, decanters,
special corkscrews, wine servers and others. And more, the Maison stores have sommeliers
to orient the choice of wine at the time of purchase.
In
2006 the company bought Clube de Vinhos Dioniso that has been
in the market for 5 years in Brazil.
It was founded in Argentina
and has 6 thousand members. In Brazil
Art des
Caves has been offering a
mix of knowledge, entertainment and interactivity to its 800 people membership.

Its
quality is not only recognized in Brazil, but also internationally.
All its line of products is certified by the quality seal ISO 9001/2000
and by UL certification (Underwriters
Laboratories - the biggest North-American organization and world leader in
security tests).
Among its regular line products, the Basique 25 stands out for the beginner wine appreciator, with the capacity for 25 average bottles, the Doublé, with separated air-conditioning for red and white wines, the Tríade, the has independent doors for separated air-conditioning for red, white and sparkling wine, and the Harmonie, that is combines a cellar with the capacity for 25 bottles and an humidor for 25 average boxes of cigars.
